They are as follows:- The Brown Horse Address: Winster, Bowness on Windermere, LA23 3NR Tel.: 015394 43443 Directions: This is my personal favourite - leave Shepherds Yeat Farm by the lower entrance/exit and take an immediate right down a steep turn following the signs for Winster. Then follow all the signs for Winster for approximately a mile and a half past a small reservoir/lake on your left hand side and you will reach the Brown Horse at Winster. The Punch Bowl Address: Crosthwaite, Lyth Valley, LA8 8HR Tel.: 015395 68237 Directions: This is situated in the village of Crosthwaite. Take the lower entrance out of Shepherd Yeat Farm and follow the road straight on until you come into the village of Crosthwaite, then turn left and the Punch Bowl is on your right hand side after approximately a further mile.
